An Open Heart
June 2026

The heart is the most sensitive organ in the body, feeling what every part experiences.
Thursday, June 18, marks the 32nd yahrzeit of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory. Interestingly, the number 32 corresponds to the Hebrew word lev (heart).

The Rebbe was the heart of the Jewish people, feeling the pain and needs of
every Jew, wherever they were. One of his enduring lessons is that each of us must open our own hearts and become more sensitive to others. The greatest tribute we can offer is to feel another Jew's pain and respond with love, care, and action.
