Men's Club Monthly Farbrengen
What is a Farbengen? A farbrengen is when people connect heart to heart, soul to soul. Chassidim say that – at a farbrengen – one person is silent and everyone else listens. Or, to paraphrase, one individual reflects upon his feelings, in affect – converses with himself… the others overhear the conversation.
Another legitimate form of a farbrengen is where two Chassidim, perhaps two old friends, talk to one another, reminisce, recount, share personal feelings and experiences… while others sit around them and listen in, basically eavesdropping on the conversation.

Home Study Groups
Do Jews believe in angels? Why do bad things happen to good people? Can you teach the meaning of the prayers? If you would like to broaden your Jewish knowledge, please feel free to join one of the above ongoing classes, or call Rabbi Greenberg for more information about starting a private study group for you and your friends. For a home study group, we suggest meeting once a month with 2-4 couples. Discussions can answer basic Judaic issues such as life after death, holiday, biblical history, or can focus on advance levels. There's no end to Jewish knowledge.

All classes take place at Solon Chabad unless otherwise noted.
