A Miracle in the Sky A flight from Dubai to Israel nearly ended in tragedy when the co-pilot tried to crash the plane. Within seconds, Israeli passengers and crew members rushed into the cockpit, overpowered him, and helped regain control of the plane. Judaism teaches us to recognize and express gratitude for the miracles G‑d performs for our people. Sometimes they are hidden; at other times, they are impossible to miss. This Saturday night at 7:00 PM, we will gather for our Simchat Torah celebration. Along with the joy of the holiday, we will have a great miracle to celebrate: tragedy averted with no loss of life. Join us to celebrate together. - Rabbi Zushe Greenberg |
